From Tired & Rich to tmrw
We've been at this for two years, and a lot has changed. But what hasn't changed is what we want for you and your financial life, a better tomorrow. Discover our big announcement on this week's edition of tmrw.

Hey, Tom here.
Markets are rough today. While this edition isn’t about that, expect some commentary from us soon. Stay nimble—and keep your eyes downfield.
This week, I’m sharing why we’re changing the name of this community—and what the future holds.
Let’s get into it.

Build a better tomorrow by improving you cash flow today.
Join me and my business partner Jacob Radke on April 9 at 11 AM CT for our next Wealth Workshop. We’ll walk through how to optimize your cash flow—before and after retirement.
Our goal: help you grow your wealth, reduce risk, and build steady, consistent income.
P.S. We’ll kick things off with a short market recap (yes, including tariffs) and end with a live Q&A.

A lot has changed over the past two years.
I’ve been writing weekly for almost four years—first on LinkedIn and, for the past two years, through this newsletter.
And I love it.
Writing has become a passion of mine, and I’ve grown somewhat addicted to its side effects. It’s made me more disciplined, opinionated, and connected. It’s helped me become a better leader and a clearer thinker.
Most importantly, it’s connected you and me, something I’m deeply grateful for.
Every morning as I write, I remind myself what a privilege it is to speak with you each week.
Your time is valuable, and I never want to waste it.
When I started Tired & Rich, my goal was to speak to basically everyone: retirees, those planning for retirement, mid-career professionals, my millennial peers, and even zoomers just graduating college.
Why?
Because I’ve worked with every generation since “The Greatest Generation” and have something to say about what works—and what doesn’t, from my experience. And at the core of it all, I have a burning passion to help people. That’s what drives me.
So, I kept writing and shipping editions. Then things took off. We partnered with the incredible team at Better Letter to curate and grow our audience—and we did just that.
Today, we’re over 23,000 readers strong, all on a mission to build better financial lives. In many ways, we’ve exceeded what I thought was possible. Together, we’ve built what I believe will become one of the top financial newsletters for high-net-worth investors in the U.S.—that’s my ultimate goal.
Which brings us to this name change.
Remember when I said I wanted to write for everyone?
Well, as the famous saying goes, if you are talking to everyone, you are talking to no one.
As thousands of new readers joined, it became clear who I was really writing to—people who need help with the kinds of things I’ve spent the last 11 years doing:

Here’s what I’ve spent the last 11 years of my career doing:
Transitioning businesses at retirement: Guiding business owners through the sale or succession of their companies to ensure a smooth transition.
Crafting tax strategies: Designing plans to optimize tax efficiency and preserve wealth across generations.
Social Security optimization: Helping clients maximize their benefits within the context of their broader financial plans.
Buying second homes: Assisting with real estate acquisitions that align with long-term goals.
Managing investment portfolios: Building and overseeing portfolios designed to grow wealth while managing risk.
Building financial plans: Creating comprehensive strategies tailored to each family’s unique needs.
Creating retirement cash flow plans: Ensuring clients have sustainable income streams throughout retirement.
And I’ve done all this while walking alongside families as life unfolds—the changing world, fluctuating markets, growing families, devastating health diagnosis’, losing love ones, and every high point and low point in between.
This is what I do almost every week, and it’s what I love. I live and breathe this work—it’s my passion.
As much as I love the name Tired & Rich, it no longer fits the audience that’s stuck around.
That’s where the name tmrw (pronounced “tomorrow”) comes in.
At first glance, the name might seem random—and to some degree, it is—but it reflects how I think. Almost every single day of my life is consumed by thoughts of the future.
Some people live in the past; others live in the present. I’m one of those people who live in the future.
The future is what gets me out of bed each morning. I love knowing that tomorrow holds endless possibilities. Dreaming about what tomorrow could bring, and working to build it, is not just who I am—it’s how I serve Clients.
But enough about me.
This newsletter is for you. You have wealth to create and protect, and I want to help you do just that.
Our team is working hard to deliver more value each week—whether through our Thursday editions, monthly wealth workshops, or the services we offer to you through Fjell.
I want you to succeed—that’s all there is to it.
And to get where you want to go, you need to turn today’s reality into tomorrow’s returns.
That’s what this newsletter is all about—and why its new name reflects that mission.
I want you to open these emails each week, attend our wealth workshops, or schedule discovery calls with our team knowing there’s an opportunity waiting for you—a chance to build a better tomorrow.
There’s more exciting news coming in the months ahead, but for now, thank you for being here.
The future is bright—and I’m grateful you’re part of it.

Two more ways I can help you:
BluePrint — Our flat-fee financial planning service for clarity and direction. Perfect if you want professional advice without full asset management, on-going advice and implementation. Let’s start with a quick conversation.
Bergen — Our premium wealth management service for individuals and families with $500,000+ in liquid assets. We’ll optimize your financial plan, navigate markets, take financial stress off your plate, and provide ongoing support, service and advice, regardless of what life brings your way. Let’s talk.
Hope to see you Wednesday for this month’s Wealth Workshop.
Let’s build a better tomorrow.
Tom
